The Starboard Pure Acid has undergone extensive research, development and extreme testing before it was launched on the market. The board has a clear purpose: to deliver powerful performance and high speed, taking wave riding to a whole new level. It is very aggressive and dynamic and is aimed at experienced, hardcore riders.

The narrower and more compact shape allows the board to achieve impressive speeds in both crosswinds and onshore winds. The slightly raised nose makes the board powerful and allows the rider to master all types of waves.

Starboard have used a fast rocker line and a spiral V design to ensure the Pure Acid is one of the fastest wave boards on the market today. Although the board is not particularly wide, the volume is proportionally distributed to create extra buoyancy and stability.

The board has excellent grip, and the fast rocker combined with the rails provides improved acceleration and top speed. It is also designed to deliver high grip while minimizing drag and water friction - resulting in a smooth, fast glide feel.

On the water, the board is very agile and can rotate and turn at high speed. The combination of power and maneuverability makes the Starboard Pure Acid not only a great wave riding board, but also a perfect platform for freestyle and freeride.

The board feels very light and easy to handle in all wind and wave conditions. The rider has full control and can perform advanced tricks without much effort.
